As the daughter of Muslim Afghan refugees, she's always struggled with articulating her experience. However, slam poetry has served as an outlet for her.

SPECIAL EVENT: Not Quite Right For Us

Queensland Poetry x Speaking Volumes Live Literature Productions presents: ‘Not Quite Right for Us’ – a new poetry film featuring dynamic poets from around the world, reading their work from the newly released anthology, 'Not Quite Right for Us': Forty Authors Speak Volumes.
