The Artistic Director will lead the artistic direction of the Queensland Poetry Festival (QPF), delivering a high quality, diverse and dynamic festival program.

SPECIAL EVENT: Not Quite Right For Us

Queensland Poetry x Speaking Volumes Live Literature Productions presents: ‘Not Quite Right for Us’ – a new poetry film featuring dynamic poets from around the world, reading their work from the newly released anthology, 'Not Quite Right for Us': Forty Authors Speak Volumes.

This film will air on 22 August 2021 at 6pm AEST on Queensland Poetry’s Facebook page.

Featuring readings from:

Amina Atiq (UK-Yemen), Francesca Beard (UK-Malaysia), Jay Bernard (UK-Jamaica), Richard Georges (British Virgin Islands), John Hegley (UK), Joshua Idehen (UK-Nigeria), Andy Jackson (Australia), Laniyuk (Australia), Jamie Thrasivoulou (UK).

And interviews with:

Francesca Beard, Richard Georges and Andy Jackson, hosted by Sharmilla Beezmohun.
