Madina Arii is an 18-year-old Brisbane poet and winner of Queensland Poetry’s 2021 SlammED competition. Since then, she has been on the Borderless panel, performed at the Queensland Poetry Festival, and has commenced a degree in Communications at QUT. Through writing and performing, Madina aims to explore the complexities of her identity. While still new to the art, she is excited to learn and grow as an artist.
